A whirlwind of confusion

A while back a client of mine was telling me how she felt when she first got her son’s ASD diagnosis…

She explained that she felt about 20 different emotions all at once…

Worry, Sadness, Guilt, Frustration, Emptiness, Anger, Pain, Concern, Defensiveness, loneliness…

She said that she felt helpless and didn’t have a clue what to do next.

Something you might be able to relate to?

As well as feeling all of the above, you may have felt a whirlwind of confusion too…

You might not have been 100% sure what autism is… how it’s going to affect your child long term… what things you can do to help.

And I know these questions can quickly build up and up till you feel totally frustrated and NEED ANSWERS!

And as your child grows older you may feel like you have a whole load of new unanswered questions like…

How do I help my child with their speech?

How can I encourage them to make friends?

How do I get my child to eat other foods, sleep better, be calmer?

Well…

In my book ‘A Guide To Unlimited Autism Success’ I decided to help out parents and carers like you by answering some of these questions.

Inside I answer some of the common concerns asked by other parents and carers on topics like behaviour, communication, sensory integration, school and education and more.
