Telling you the facts…

did you know that…

Only 15% of autistic adults in the UK are in full-time work.

That’s not a typo.

Only 15%.

I heard this statistic in a documentary not too long ago, and it left me feeling shocked and saddened.

The documentary went on to talk about the number of people on the spectrum who aren’t receiving the employment support they need.

No shit, I thought!

I’m sorry that this email can’t be more upbeat and positive, but I think it’s important that I also tell you the facts.

If your child doesn’t have early interventions in place to help them with their learning, to develop social skills, communicative skills, life skills and social thinking, they too could end up in that huge and horrible 85%.

Truth.

But, just because I’m telling you these morbid facts doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get inspired here…

Think about it….

If you DO help your child receive the early interventions and the get intensive support that they need and deserve they could be in that 15%.

Working full time…

Obviously working full time isn’t the be and end all of life… But it does give you one key thing that I think every parent or career would want for their children with autism…

INDEPENDENCE!

As well as early interventions and intensive support one of the things YOU can do to help your child develop these key skills is by working on this a little every day.

And by joining ‘Unlimited Autism Success Inner Circle,’ you’ll get loads of helpful, easy to copy ideas that can help you do this.
