Messing with teachers at school

Back when I was in school, I could read teachers like a book…

And it wasn’t just me, all the other kids in class could too…

We knew who NOT to mess with…

And we knew who could be taken for a ride….

Every teacher was treated differently…

It’s true…

Even as a kid you could very quickly determine who was strict and who would let you run riot…

Even the worst behaved kids only behaved badly with certain teachers, think about it…

Some teachers could just command respect…

And others were taken for a ride lesson after lesson….

And do you know what the giveaway was?

All the teachers that got taken for a ride had several traits in common….

Empty threats…

Broken promises…

Not following though…

For example,

A teacher would say:

“No talking or I’ll be sending a letter home to your parents.”

Or something along those lines…

Then someone would get caught talking, and they’d just get told that same threat again…

Or even a completely different but equally lame threat…

No letter home, no real consequence and no follow through…

These type of teachers were all talk and no action…

On the other hand, the teachers that commanded respect said they were going to do something…

And they STUCK to it!

They only had to follow through with a threat once or twice, and all the other kids in the class knew this teacher was not to be messed with…

No games!

It’s the same thing that separates the parents who manage their child’s most challenging behaviours head on…

And the ones that say they want to, but don’t ever end up doing it.

If you’re a parent that doesn’t know where to start with managing your child’s picky eating, elopement, aggressive behaviour or their sensory needs then maybe you just need a bit of a hand with this?

Well, that’s exactly why I’ve created the ‘Unlimited Autism Success Inner Circle’

I’ve put together an area where parents and carers can get advice and tips on specific challenges they’re facing with their ASD children.

I’ve made step by step guides to help you every step of the way…

And even training videos for you to watch at your pace.

When you join, you’ll be part of a community of parents and carers, just like you, who want to get the very best from their autistic child.
